Microwave Granola in 10 minutes

Last year around this time I made my first batch of microwave granola and there was no preventing. I used to observe all my favourite bloggers sharing their home made granola mix bringing up that it's miles the excellent and higher than shop-bought. Even if I want to get save-offered, Yanbu grocery store had none. :-) But after many months I determined Harvest Granola cartons in Star Supermarket and it wasn't reasonably-priced. Yet I used to shop for and use it like gold, now not for too lengthy although. The rolled oats commenced to reveal up in Al Raya grocery store aisles and I became the happiest soul that day. Little joys of Yanbu days...

You need rolled oats to make granola as it can undergo all of the matters we placed them thru... :-) I first tried the stove-top approach and for the following batch, I attempted the microwave technique because I did not personal an oven then. I attempted unique recipe ratio from my fav bloggers like Laura, Sally and Nagi and tweaked it to suit my microwave approach.

I have made several batches for pals and circle of relatives with so many flavour combinations and never were given to click decent snap shots of these. But what makes me satisfied is when they devour and inform me it changed into sincerely better than store-sold!

Some of the flavor mixtures that I tried to this point are:

  • Trail mix with sunflower seed butter
  • Peanuts and Peanut butter
  • Date paste and cinnamon chips
  • Lady/Earl grey and dried goji berries
  • Mixed dried fruits and dried cranberries
  • Almonds and Chocolate

The technique for making tea flavoured granola isn't like this, so I will try to share in a separate put up approximately the Earl Grey Granola.

The shelf lifestyles of granola depends to your utilization. Mine turned into over within 2 weeks. If you have plans to hold it for long, then you may store within the freezer too.
